Mindy Malcolm-Joersz
Board Vice President
Mindy has over 15 years of rescue experience and has been with Diamonds for 4. Mindy specializes in helping emaciated, medical, and special needs dogs! We are grateful for her passion and boundless dedication to the dogs who need her care.
Dan Joersz
Board Coordinator
Dan rescues alongside his wife Mindy. He has a heart for all the dogs and seems to always know which ones need a little extra love. Dan is an invaluable resource and wears several different hats!
Angela Cullom

Angie has been with Diamonds for more than 3 years! She knows all things mama dogs and will also foster medical dogs. She is Nugs' mom! Angie lends her talents at adoption events and fundraisers, all for the dogs!
Allison Fitzgerald

Allison has been with Diamonds for more than 3 years! She has a soft spot for the mama dogs, the underdogs, and the seniors! Allison focuses on adoptions and advocating for all dogs! Her role is no easy task but you will always find her with a smile!
Tina Stricklan
Board Coordinator
Tina joined Diamonds in 2021 after being asked to foster a few puppies! Tina has a passion for helping those who can't help themselves and will foster any dog who gets along with her pack! She volunteers her time at intakes and events as well as makes sure our dogs have all the routine medical care they need!
Karianne Boyle
Board Coordinator
Karianne found her passion for rescuing dogs during COVID! She focuses on the stray dogs who need a chance and helps the rescue find fosters for them!
Leah Cayton-Moore
Board Coordinator
Leah has more than 17 years of rescue experience and has been with Diamonds since 2022! Leah is passionate about mama dogs, neonatal puppies, and all things medical. Leah's commitment and dedication to Diamonds has helped save dozens of dogs!
Emily Deng
Operations Team Specialist
Emily started fostering for Diamonds in 2021 and has fostered more than 40 dogs! She has a passion for the underdogs, especially the adults and pitties. Emily wears several hats within the rescue and is a part of our Operations Team.
Zoey is one of our amazing youth volunteers! She has fostered dozens of puppies with her mom. She is always generous and selfless, and gives her time nearly every week to help our pups get adopted!
