Adopt Your YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND

Thank you for considering Diamonds in the Ruff Rescue MO to adopt a dog! There are so many fantastic dogs out there and we think we have some amazing ones! We are looking to place dogs in loving, responsible homes for life!

Each dog is required to be vaccinated and neutered or spayed before adoption (Diamonds in the Ruff Rescue MO is responsible for getting this complete).

We are very careful about the placements we make to ensure the best match for all. We consider the dog's needs and background and your family's needs. We know that sometimes this match is not 100%! For this reason, we offer a two-week trial (foster-to-adopt). A volunteer will check-in periodically and help answer any questions.

Every dog is different: personality, temperament, energy, comfort with kids and other animals, medical needs and more. We take all these factors into consideration when matching the right dog with the right adoptive home, but sometimes it is not a success.  Diamonds in the Ruff Rescue MO will work with you to find another compatible dog and make sure it's a great experience!

We support taking time to find the right dog to be matched to you. Chances are they're right around the corner.
