At just around a year old, Chiquito is a young, scrappy, and delightfully determined Chihuahua mix who’s ready to steal your heart—and maybe your spot on the couch.
He’s crate trained, kid-friendly, and doing much better on potty training since his neuter (though he still thinks marking is an art form). On leash? Pretty decent! But where Chiquito really shines is with people—he absolutely adores them. His tail is in a constant wag, and all he wants is to be next to you… like, right next to you.
Chiquito came to us with a healed femur fracture, which gives him a bit of a limp, but don't tell him that—it’s never slowed him down for a second. He bounces back (literally) from everything, whether it’s life’s challenges or being gently scooted off the couch by another dog. He’s persistent, fearless, and full of love.
Now, about other dogs—Chiquito is extremely dog-friendly… but in that "I missed the memo on personal space" kind of way. He has zero social cues and will need very tolerant, easy-going canine siblings (with slow introductions), or he’d be just as happy being your one and only. He doesn’t mean to be rude—he’s just that excited. Separation anxiety means he’ll try hard to be wherever the action is, especially if it means being near his people.
He may be small and still needs to gain a few pounds, but his personality is larger than life. If you're looking for a hilarious, loving, and endlessly determined companion who will make you laugh every day—Chiquito’s your guy.
