Meet Bud!
Bud came to us as a breeder surrender. We have been fostering him for almost two months. Generally breeder dogs struggle with socialization, but not Bud. He is a snuggler and a cuddler and he loves to fall asleep in your lap. He loves people, especially little kids. His snores will put you to sleep. He is learning about grass and walks and pup cups and running in the yard after being on concrete his whole life. His appetite is excellent and he is not finicky about food. He is working on housebreaking and is doing well. He is crated at night and doesn’t mess in his crate. He gets along very well with our Frenchie, but they’re fed separately to avoid conflicts. As a Frenchie, he is very smart. As a Frenchie, he is also stubborn and wants to do things his way, but he responds well to teaching, especially if there is a high value treat at the end. As a Frenchie, he gets his feelings easily hurt, but he bounces back quickly and is sorry he disappointed you. Even though he is five years old, he has a lot of puppy in him. He is curious, but not destructive. It’s a big world and he wants to make up for lost time and see all of it. If you’re looking for a Frenchie that wants a forever family, Bud could be your dog. Especially if you have whipped cream.
