At just about a year old, he’s still very much a puppy at heart, full of curiosity, wiggles, and a love for life (and snuggles). At his core, he’s a goofy, affectionate sweetheart who thrives on structure, exercise, and a family who understands that big-hearted dogs sometimes need clear boundaries.
Zepplin is a certified snuggle monster who loves belly rubs, booty scratches, and will absolutely crawl into your lap like he’s still a 10-pound pup. He lights up at the sight of a leash, loves exploring the world, and needs daily walks (a few miles!) and regular playtime to burn off that bouncy energy.
While he's social and loves meeting new people, Zepplin does get very excited at first, so his ideal adopter will help him channel his enthusiasm into good manners. He’s learning that barking doesn’t get him attention and is doing well with redirection and training. He’s food-motivated, eager to learn, and loves being challenged mentally and physically.
Zepplin isn’t just active—he’s also intensely loving. He does best when he has access to his people and doesn’t like to be left alone outside. Whether he’s playing fetch, watching squirrels from a window, or snuggling up after a long walk, Zepplin just wants to be near you.
He’s come a long way from being malnourished and is now healthy, strong, and SO ready for his forever family.
