Hi! I’m Kinny! I was a stray found on the streets in Kinloch. That’s how I got my name, “Kinny”. I came in with injuries to my head, but since becoming a Diamonds dog I am all healed physically. I usually love other dogs, but I am nervous with new people and prefer slow human introductions. Once I feel safe and confident around you, though, I turn into mush and want nothing more than some head scratches. In fact, if you stop, I’ll kindly remind you that it’s okay to keep going. Potty trained & good in the car I have fairly calm energy, but do have a playful side. I’m working on loose leash walking (and doing great with it) and learning to trust more humans. The amazing volunteers that are taking care of me are helping me with this by introducing me to new people and places and I’m growing my trust and confidence with each week that goes by! Must haves: strong handler, kids 10 & older, calmer household, someone willing to go slow with me, & a calm, confident leader that will continue my training
